Tomorrow Jacq & i will be going to see Kraftwerk live in Tilburg (Juan Atkins will be spinning afterwards btw). For me it’ll be the third time to see them, but for Jacq the first. She played the Minimum-Maximum live CD pretty often recently though, so she’s got an idea what to expect. I just expect to get blown away again.
In the mail today i got the tickets for day 2 of the 5 Days Off festival in Amsterdam on july 14 with Autechre, Cristian Vogel, Luke Vibert, Speedy J (5.1 surround live), Funckarma, Richard Devine (5.1 surround live) and more. I’m looking forward to go to the Paradiso again with Paul! We once performed there ourselves with TV-99-AD and saw many, many great gigs there.
The next day i’ll be driving to John & Annick in Ghent to spent a couple of days at the 10 Days Off festival with Jaga Jazzist, M.I.A., Michael Mayer, Akufen, Cobblestone Jazz, The Bug, Jamie Lidell, Mathew Jonson, Gilles Peterson, Ken Ishii & even more names. It’s gonna be a crazy couple of days!
A month later there’s the Total 6 party in Cologne, but i haven’t seen tickets for sale yet. I hope it’ll be possible to buy tickets and a hotel reservation again at the Kompakt shop, like last year.
