It was quite a day today. “Woke up” this morning after a bad night of sleep thanks to a terrible cold i got yesterday. The whole day i had this feeling i wasn’t really there. Blerrgh. That made the email me and my co-workers got early in the afternoon even more unreal. Marcel, the technical director of XB, a guy i have been working with for almost 9 years and who’s one of the guys who basically set up the company, let us know he’s not happy with his job anymore and quit as per now. This was quite shocking and i can’t say i’m really happy about it, but if you’re not happy anymore with your daily job, it’s best for all not to stay unhappy of course. Anyway, this will take some time to get used to, but we’ll manage :) Good luck Marcel!!
Better news this afternoon from Apple. As you’ve already read on every other weblog the rumours about the tiny headless Mac are true. A G4 Mac for under $/€ 500!! This will be a great little machine to replace my old, much too big PC that’s currently being used as an mp3 fileserver. I’m sure this Mac mini will be a huge success and might finally increase Mac OS’s market share this year.
