Friends abroad, it’s time to make your own oil balls for your “old & new” celebration. Enjoy!
Raisins, Apples, Egg, Flour, Milk, Salt, Butter, Yeast, Sugar, Vegetable oil
Take 0.45 liter milk and mix as much as necessary through 500 g flour, binding the flour into a dough while making sure it doesn’t go lumpy. Mix one […]
This blog now also has an Atom feed, including autodiscovery tag and server side mime-type. I don’t know exactly why i added this, perhaps just because it’s been made possible by Movable Type 2.65. From the documentation it isn’t exactly clear to me why Atom is any better than RSS, but i’m not an expert.
Yesterday i bought a new DVD player, a really nice and slim machine called Sony DVP-NS430 (who comes up with these names?) which plays everything you throw at it except the VCDs with pictures i prepared for it. To celebrate the occassion i decided to have a look at Kevin Smith’s Dogma again yesterday evening, […]

This year’s Christmas was pretty good for me. It might sound a bit corny (is that the right word?), but who cares? I just had a good time with my and Jacq’s family.
Also finally a time to relax a little bit, too bad about those balls ‘n trees and all that, but it gets easier […]
Interview with Nir Arbel, the lead programmer of Soulseek.
I hope Soulseek will mean discovering that there’s still tons of good music out there (to buy) for a lot of people, like it did for me…
NI’s Christmas download now also works on OSX…
Native Instruments has a nice Christmas present for us…
(update 7:56 PM) Very nice of NI, expect the OSX version just won’t install. “Making people happy with a dead sparrow”, as we say in The Netherlands. Let me know if you have more luck with this application.
